Felipe Grez is a lifelong Martial Artist and black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under multiple time World Jiu Jitsu and ADCC champion, Michelle Nicolini! Felipe also holds a black belt in Taekwondo and has several years of Kickboxing experience, but his true passion lies in the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He has dedicated the last 15+ years of his life to seeking out the highest quality instruction and training, and has travelled the world to learn from some of the best practitioners of the art. Now he shares his knowledge and experience at Jiu Jitsu Kingdom.

Felipe has attended classes, private lessons and seminars with many of the greats in BJJ and Grappling such as Mario Sperry, Marcelo Garcia, Michelle Nicolini, Kron Gracie, Murilo Bustamante, Bruno Panno, Royce Gracie, Antonio Rodrigo “Minotauro” Nogueira, Allan Goes, Eddie Bravo, Ryron Gracie, Andre Galvao, Rafael Mendes, Xande Ribeiro, Antonio Carlos Junior, Dustin “Clean” Denes, Steve Maxwell, Gazzy Parman, Luke Picklum, Adam Kayoom, Nic Gregoriades, Bruno Fernandes, Sayaka Shioda, Paul Schreiner, Robert Follis, Randy Couture.

Felipe approaches Jiu Jitsu with an open mind and believes in cross training and experiencing what other instructors have to share and add to your own development. Practicing what he preaches, Felipe has made an effort to continually bring out various world class instructors to teach and expose his students to new ideas and other ways of looking at techniques and concepts. Some of the guest BJJ instructors include: Michelle Nicolini, Steve Maxwell, Dustin “Clean” Denes, Gazzy Parman, Nic Gregoriades with many more to come.

Felipe’s dream is to inspire people improve their lives and achieve their goals through the application Jiu Jitsu and its principles. Felipe founded Jiu Jitsu Kingdom with the hope that it will become a place where people can train in a fun, safe and ego free environment, strive for excellence and develop lifelong friendships while acquiring world class Jiu Jitsu skills and dramatically improving their health and fitness.
